Choosing Enterprise Rent-A-Car for me was a particularly easy decision, but why should you choose Enterprise? Do you want to be challenged? Do you want to be rewarded? Do you want to progress at a rate in which you feel competitive and fair?
These were all the basic questions I asked myself when applying and I could easily answer them all with a solid YES.
How will Enterprise benefit you? Another easy question; Enterprise is an extremely professional organisation and right from the word go you are the face of the company and brand. The skills that Enterprise develops in all of their employees not only stay with you throughout your Enterprise career but within everything that you do. As an employee of Enterprise, you will learn every aspect of the business from marketing, sales, accounting and much more.
I am currently studying Physical Education & School Sport at Edge Hill University. The great thing about Enterprise is that you don’t need to study a specific degree related subject, as long as you are looking for a career in management.
So, here I am in the first 10 months of hopefully a very long and successful career (after graduating of course). What have the first 10 months had in store for me? Well I have already completed my management training manual and ready for my final stage to be promoted to management assistant. I have been amongst the best sales people for my area and have been skydiving, go-karting, paintballing and many more activities the days out are during work hours, so not only do you get paid for a full day, you have a day of fun!!
Enterprise wants to develop you as much as they can, you are encouraged to meet with department heads to gain a better understanding of each area of the business and importantly build positive relationships with the people that are in-charge of promoting you.
Enterprise has taken me on a real rollercoaster ride, but the only strange thing is it has all been UP. I really have been in charge of my own personal development and this has allowed me to impact the branch I work at from the ground up.
There are so many positives to working at enterprise but the most important ones for me are;
Surely by now you are asking yourself how do I apply for an internship or a graduate job?
Well a couple of pointers to remember before you do; do your research about the company, recognise and relate to the core values of the company, ask plenty of questions and most importantly sell yourself.
Good luck!
